Matthew LaBanca is an accomplished actor-singer-dancer. He holds two degrees from the University of Connecticut: one in Voice, the other in Music Education. Matthew has studied acting at MCS for the past three years, is also a student of Penny Templeton, and has done additional work at both the Michael Howard and T. Schreiber studios in NYC. Matthew has taught musical theatre masterclasses at SUNY Fredonia, and teaches privately as well.
As an actor, Matthew has appeared on Broadway in Young Frankenstein (cast album), White Christmas, and Children and Art. He has been in four national tours, and performed at many of the country’s top regional houses (TUTS, Paper Mill, The Old Globe, to name a few). As a classical singer, Matthew has performed with both the NY Choral Artists and NY Virtuoso Singers, affording him the opportunity to sing on several stages at Lincoln Center, as well as at Carnegie Hall.
