Ana is on scholarship at a boarding school far from home, deeply and distinctly alone until she crosses paths with day student Jonah. They navigate the edges of this new relationship, tentative and heady, but something else is stirring - what begins as an exploration of new, exultant desire shifts into more complex negotiations of intimacy and survival spanning two decades. A story of fracture and resilience, what bodies carry and what they can release, and the radical possibilities of trust.

The Artist Initiative is a rotating artist-in-residence program for writers. Artists-in-residence will work with MCS for a set period of three months to create original work and promote original writing within the MCS acting community. This program will provide writers with community, resources and space to support their artistic practice. Artists-in-Residence will receive a monthly stipend.
Artists-in-Residence will be chosen by application for a participation period of 3 months (Jan-Mar, Apr-June, Sept-Nov) to produce scenes and cold reads for in-class work, culminating in a scene showcase at the end of their residency, featuring MCS actors.
